Devlog #4: Improving path generation


Hi, just a short update today. I was busy for a large portion of today and the F1 starts in 10 minutes.

I fixed the issue with the path generation getting stuck and added branching. I think it is an improvement, but it still needs a bit of tweaking. I am also considering trying out a different method, but I'll see how far I can go with this first. As you can see in the image though, as I move to the left, most of the paths also go in that direction, without many going vertically.

Anyway, finding a way to fix that will be the first task tomorrow, then hopefully I can finally get around to enemies, like I said I would two days ago already ahaha.
